I might just cut my losses and try out one of the other mods. So sorry if i come off a bit crass just getting annoyed cuz I was looking forward to playing with that mod for a few hours here, but i feel incompetent. ini by making a text and renaming it, but the computer was smarter :P Such as, making sure GoG, Oblivion and all related files are running as admin, Messed around with the order a bit, but it seems the few mods i got don't really matter where they are. Thousands of new mods are either updated or created to make Skyrim even better, and the Alternate Start mod is no exception. (like it reads the unofficial oblivion patch to.) For giggles i even put a copy of the blockhead.dll in each folder, i know, excessive, yet sometimes it seems necessary to make sure i just didn't put it in the wrong spot.Īny issues i look up, deal with the steam version of the game. dll files and it reads those to the best of my poor observation skills.
I have Oblivion Character Overhaul Version 2 in, yet i still have the INSTALL BLOCKHEAD error on the heads. I'm putting in mods, and I can tell that as long as i drop them in the Data file, it will pick it up. So, with some slight pessimism, anyone else willing to throw spaghetti against a wall and see if it works? or has a better face mod to use? TL DR It reads everything but the blockhead.dll and I've spent a good 3 hours trying to get it to work and looking for answers.
